the lovers' rights

I love soccer.

Playing in this league the past few months has been awesome, I def. plan on continuing this new tradition until I get badly injured or my wife/kids make me stop. It's such a rush to be engaged in a fierce, dirty, cursing match & talking shit & fouling each other & stuff and then say 'good game' and leave it all on the field. Now, if we can just get our own team or take over this one so we can run things the way they need to be run.

I love how having a girlfriend makes so many other areas of your life so much simpler, esp. relationships and social situations. It's nice to walk around every day and not think about approaching every hot girl that walks past you. I never really had a phone that could text message when I was dating Ellie three years ago, but that has to be the most slick & easy way to earn points/stay in touch. Ha, I guess when you don't have a girlfriend for a while you sort of plan out the best way to do certain things...I'm sure I'll regress into stupid boy mistakes before too long though.

The distance thing isn't too horrible yet - it's sort of like riding a bike w/ training wheels since I still get to keep doing a bunch of random stuff that I prob. wouldn't have/make time to do if I could see Brooke during the week. The weekends rock : atlanta > macon

My parents are flying me to Charlotte Friday afternoon so I can drive a Uhaul full of my 'good' bedroom furniture back to Atlanta Saturday - I just like flying [and seeing my parents isn't so bad either]. The hair is at record length - my mom's going to kick my ass.

Janet's headed downhill quickly [prayers please] so we'll see how it goes these next few weeks. Rachel just came back from being overseas for a year while Janet held strong. It always amazes me how things work out, esp. when it comes to stuff like this. I'm not a huge religious dude or anything, but it seems like God always makes his presence & plan known the most during times like this. Rachel's home & the holidays are coming up...

My name is Micah and I'm a fantasy football addict - pretty much any type of competition w/ friends will always occupy way too much of my time.

- it's actually raining! [don't knock prayer] -

So I just found out that my 2nd ex-girlfriend is engaged to be married this summer. Wow, it's crazy how things happen and change so fast. It's also so weird how different people are depending on who they are dating at the time. It sounds like her ideal life though, so that's great. It's not a sad thing or anything, it's just crazy. Ha, I'm not sure what it is about dating me that makes a girl want to get married to the next guy she meets... that's all

this is my home

I've said it before and I'll say it again: atlanta is awesome. I spent the day [from nine to seven] at the inman park festival today...'working'. It's so cool so see such a diverse group of people come together and have some fun. The parade was great, everything from old people dressed up and dancing like they're on bad acid to grady high school's band doing the whole 'black band' drumcore [or whatever the name of that movie was] thing. Of course my signature luck had my allergies kicking my ass all day but I didn't let it ruin the fun too much. After about twenty minutes of lying in bed and a double shot of benadryl [I know it's a histamine blocker] and some rockstar [to counteract the anti-histamine side effect] it's time for dinner and whatever I can get into tonight. All this on less than four hours of sleep. I'm sitting at 44 hours worked this week, not even counting being at the festival tomorrow from 11-7. You know you...
