vision of division

most epic freeloader weekend ever: fancy dinner/drinks/party/personal cabin @ Barnsley Gardens Friday night ['old' drunk people are much creepier than 'young' drunk people & most of the people that I work w/ are cool as hell], perfect seats @ the Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker Saturday night [Courtney is awesome on stage and off], 99x Mistletoe Jam via Paste Sunday night [Silverchair in 2007 is like a humorous heavy metal version of Queen] - not to mention that I had the perfect [so far] woman at my side the entire time.

These dark afternoons and freezing temperatures do negative wonders for my after work productivity. I need to step up the motivation quickly or start scheduling a bunch of stuff at night...

Always a sign of a good 'distance' relationship: the weekends continue to get shorter while the weeks get longer. It sucks to miss someone so much but it's def. the best kind of missing. I hope that this whole moving situation works out well [cool city/market please]

I'm looking forward to the next soccer session starting tomorrow - two weeks w/o is too long. It might be a very long nine weeks w/o a true keeper though - fun nonetheless.

The next week will be filled w/ old friends, family, and sports in the usual holiday places - I've got it so good. The 26th anniversary of my birth is coming up as well - hopefully I can get into something fun for that occasion before heading to Boston for the blowout.

So I just found out that my 2nd ex-girlfriend is engaged to be married this summer. Wow, it's crazy how things happen and change so fast. It's also so weird how different people are depending on who they are dating at the time. It sounds like her ideal life though, so that's great. It's not a sad thing or anything, it's just crazy. Ha, I'm not sure what it is about dating me that makes a girl want to get married to the next guy she meets... that's all

this is my home

I've said it before and I'll say it again: atlanta is awesome. I spent the day [from nine to seven] at the inman park festival today...'working'. It's so cool so see such a diverse group of people come together and have some fun. The parade was great, everything from old people dressed up and dancing like they're on bad acid to grady high school's band doing the whole 'black band' drumcore [or whatever the name of that movie was] thing. Of course my signature luck had my allergies kicking my ass all day but I didn't let it ruin the fun too much. After about twenty minutes of lying in bed and a double shot of benadryl [I know it's a histamine blocker] and some rockstar [to counteract the anti-histamine side effect] it's time for dinner and whatever I can get into tonight. All this on less than four hours of sleep. I'm sitting at 44 hours worked this week, not even counting being at the festival tomorrow from 11-7. You know you...
