Ah, it's been a while. A lot has happened in the last few weeks. I'll skip over the fun/not quite life-changing stuff for the sake of time. It's new years eve. Alright, my grandma McLain passed away on Christmas Eve. I'm sure I'll get really down about it at some different points in life but right now it's hard to be too sad b/c it's all that she's wanted since grandad died. And it's really cool just to think about how cool the timing is and that she was w/ grandad and god for christmas.
I'm not that big on religion or anything, but it's so amazing to see how things work out in death. It just seems like the time in someone's life where you can truly get a glimpse of his plan and how everything happens for a reason and all that...but I've talked about this enough the past week so let's move on. Family is what it's all about.
I've started a new job at a local t-shirt shop: the t-shirt construction co. It's a gay name but it's a really cool place, just Montine [the owner] and me pretty much. It's just my kind of thing: local art, small business, cool area, being surrounded by artists and dreamers, laid back, and most importantly - opportunity.
Tonight brings new years eve downtown. It's great that James and them have a loft downtown again so we can just get sloshed and walk to five points to catch the peach drop and collective soul before coming back and seeing how long we can continue. Hopefully at least the main crew can make it until we cook breakfast around five or six. Good times.
Alright, there's a lot more but I'm about to eat some pizza and get it right for tonight. Have a safe and happy, everyone. I'll see you next year! [cheese]
