3.5 - 6 : out: 19.32 in: 38.55 a: 6.29
- it just felt so good to get back out there, I'll def. take that time [esp. considering that I had to push myself off of the hood of a car - not my fault this time - around the 4.5 mile mark], the dr. put a wedge in my right running shoe so I shouldn't be causing any irreparable damage, I'll just get through the runs and follow a routine: stretch . run . stretch . advil . ice - repeat, I don't mind running in a manageable amount of pain if I know that I'm not messing anything up too bad
3.8 - 8 : 58.49 a: 7.21
- horrible time, but I guess that dancing, drinking, and sweating at a prom/rock show all night and staying up til four and then not getting much sleep isn't exactly the ideal pre-race routine, the foot felt alright, i really think that b/n the wedge, advil, and ice that it should be good, at this point it's just going to be getting my legs used to running that far again, 8 is good for now though, everything considered
3.20 - 6 : out: 19.52 in: 40.38 a: 6.46
- not too bad, esp. considering I haven't done anything but work, party, drink, and not sleep the past week, I'm def. not going to make 90 min. for the 13.1 though, we'll just have to see how it goes, I think that I should at least be able to beat most of the folks that I know who are running it

So I just found out that my 2nd ex-girlfriend is engaged to be married this summer. Wow, it's crazy how things happen and change so fast. It's also so weird how different people are depending on who they are dating at the time. It sounds like her ideal life though, so that's great. It's not a sad thing or anything, it's just crazy. Ha, I'm not sure what it is about dating me that makes a girl want to get married to the next guy she meets... that's all

this is my home

I've said it before and I'll say it again: atlanta is awesome. I spent the day [from nine to seven] at the inman park festival today...'working'. It's so cool so see such a diverse group of people come together and have some fun. The parade was great, everything from old people dressed up and dancing like they're on bad acid to grady high school's band doing the whole 'black band' drumcore [or whatever the name of that movie was] thing. Of course my signature luck had my allergies kicking my ass all day but I didn't let it ruin the fun too much. After about twenty minutes of lying in bed and a double shot of benadryl [I know it's a histamine blocker] and some rockstar [to counteract the anti-histamine side effect] it's time for dinner and whatever I can get into tonight. All this on less than four hours of sleep. I'm sitting at 44 hours worked this week, not even counting being at the festival tomorrow from 11-7. You know you...
