dogs beware

I'm listening to antony & the johnsons. They won the Mercury this year. Pretty good stuff, very heartfelt and emotional. Sounds like Billie Holiday or something. Jazzy/lounge kind of feel to it. Yeah...the go! team is cool too. Variety, baby.

Alright, yesterday I saw a chow get hit [he got up and ran off thankfully] and today I found a dog that had gotten hit by a car outside of work and I picked it up and took it to the vet. So apparently being in my vicinity has a distinct effect on dogs health. Eh, but if you do get hit around me I'll help you out if you need it.

This weather sucks, it was summer last week and it's winter this week. And don't even get me started on this early darkness stuff...

Oh, I saw Andre 3000 at Eats last night. One of the coolest things ever. Now I have something to tell my grandkids. He is the man, he eats at Eats!

I'm glad you took the puppy to the vet! Is it ok??? Stupid people that don't take care of their animals...
Gertie is 6 years old today! What did you get her for her birthday???
she has "lost a few pounds in her hips for ya". Haha.

So I just found out that my 2nd ex-girlfriend is engaged to be married this summer. Wow, it's crazy how things happen and change so fast. It's also so weird how different people are depending on who they are dating at the time. It sounds like her ideal life though, so that's great. It's not a sad thing or anything, it's just crazy. Ha, I'm not sure what it is about dating me that makes a girl want to get married to the next guy she meets... that's all

this is my home

I've said it before and I'll say it again: atlanta is awesome. I spent the day [from nine to seven] at the inman park festival today...'working'. It's so cool so see such a diverse group of people come together and have some fun. The parade was great, everything from old people dressed up and dancing like they're on bad acid to grady high school's band doing the whole 'black band' drumcore [or whatever the name of that movie was] thing. Of course my signature luck had my allergies kicking my ass all day but I didn't let it ruin the fun too much. After about twenty minutes of lying in bed and a double shot of benadryl [I know it's a histamine blocker] and some rockstar [to counteract the anti-histamine side effect] it's time for dinner and whatever I can get into tonight. All this on less than four hours of sleep. I'm sitting at 44 hours worked this week, not even counting being at the festival tomorrow from 11-7. You know you...
