keep it like a secret

After a weekend of grilling out/eating totally unhealthy quantities of veggies & meat, playing horseshoes/poker/football, & drinking with my extended family on a farm in southeast georgia; I spent yesterday at the braves game, sonny's bbq, & the drive-in. That has got to be a record for one weekend of american activities by anyone named micah. I'm even red & white striped after sitting in the right field bleachers w/ eric sweating my ass off & watching the braves tease us yesterday afternoon. I love how my holiday weekends and my work week don't seem that different. - back to work -

If anyone w/n one hundred miles of atlanta missed the flaming lips at c.o.p. tonight then I don't know what you were thinking. I have no idea what friends mean or who you can depend on but I do know that that was one of the most amazing and happy shows that I have ever seen. Time after time, it seems like that's all that you really have to have. I guess we'll see...

I love summer in the city. I'm just filling up this new google calendar thing with cool stuff to do almost every night for the next couple of months. Plenty of concerts, movie screenings, festivals, braves games, etc. to keep us all busy. I wish it was easier to get folks together to do stuff.

Alright, this is a tough one. The lineup for the Austin City Limits Festival was just announced and it looks pretty damn cool. I think we're going to have to get old school & have a little battle to see which one I should head to this summer. This could get ugly...

After this afternoon I can no longer say that I've never drank [drunk, whatever] a forty in the rain while sitting on a park bench across from the carter center. That's one more check on my 'to do before i die' list.

I've seriously gotta make some more friends in the [non-valet] parking business or stop over-estimating my sneakiness, this is getting expensive. Another reason why I love being able to walk to all of the bars in midtown. - das boots win again -

Never talk to anyone about politics, W., race, the hip hop culture, illegal immigrants, affirmative action, the war in iraq, the 'n word', etc. unless you agree w/ them...especially after you've been drinking. Ha, we covered some ground tonight. - cheers, your 'indie kid'
