immaculate heart

Not a bad week, actually got to spend it all in Atlanta working, finishing my past due cd reviews, taking care of some stuff for the FARM team, celebrating Katy's b-day w/ everyone at Rusans, etc. Friday night was Butch Walker at Earthlink w/ Joe, Britney, and others [including her mom...that's just sad]. I was hoping for more M3 stuff but it was cool. Yesterday was spend watching Bama do their best to ruin the entire season and Tech playing over their heads and actually holding on for the win at no. 3 Miami. Last night was everyone hanging out at my house w/ plenty of wine, beer, music, and 'firewood'. The smores were a nice touch.

It's always so weird to me how things change so much, seemingly for no reason at all. Watching friendships change, grow, and die always makes me very introspective. I guess things just happen that way, doesn't seem like you can control very much so there's probably no real point in worrying about it anymore than you have to. Some people grow [for better or worse] and some people don't, such is life.

And I think [hope/pray] that I've finally got my ipod up and running for good. It's got all of my music, album art, and photos on it and I finally got a case that should work. They really need someone to come in and make some very functional ipod cases that don't look so generic. I've got a cool looking one, but I'm pretty sure that I'll find that I'll have to give up some of the functionality...small price to pay. I think I've found my new best friend...

Tonight brings 'walk the line' [hell yeah] w/ Courtney and others. I just got up from a little nap so that I would be totally ready for the show, it's gonna be a great one.

I'm so glad that this week brings t-day, great family, great food, and football. My favorite holiday is almost here...have a good one.

The holidays were nice: This was def the weirdest/worst Christmas ever but still good times. Nanny's was different since it's hit the point where it seems like it's time for each 'family' to go their separate way now + w/ all the new little kids and the 20-somethings growing apart. I'm looking forward to having the Fuller Christmas in Charlotte next year. I do love getting more from Mom + Robert than any kid over 14 should - it's pretty awesome how much they've done + continue to do for us. I got to spend a few days w/ Brooke before taking her to the airport on Christmas eve - that was def the best part of the holidays by far. Dad and I got out and played some golf w/ DJ Sparkles as our personal caddy on an unbelievably beautiful day for late December [or April for that matter]. It wasn't hard to tell that it'd been months since I last touched a club. Grandma Salter's was different this year too; mainly b/c Mom + Robert left for Houston on th...

too much sex [too little jesus]

What an awesome title for a rock song. Man, I love dbt. They've got it all. It's just dirty, rowdy, heartfelt southern rock. Anyway... Mondays are weird. I always feel like a slacker b/c everyone else is at work and I'm not, even though I work Saturdays and I went into the shop for a few hours today and did some freelance stuff. I guess it's just me. Such beautiful weather, it seems like the weather's been pretty much awesome for the past month or so. Pretty good weekend. Friday night we checked out Front Page News in midtown. It was pretty cool, I just miss the good ol' days when everyone else would get a little crazy, seems like they're all so chill now. I guess that's how it is when you get in a relationship though, so that's good for them. I guess I feel like having a girlfriend doesn't really change the way I act that much, but maybe it does. I'll work on them though, now that even more of us are in the city. Saturday was an ...
