Here is tonight's unofficial scorecard for the run:

3 pts - one for each time these these black girls in a car yelled something at me as I passed them [red lights, etc.]
10 pts - being high-fived by a hot girl sitting in a car at a red light
5 pts - not breaking stride while executing this maneuver
10 pts - possibly knowing the girl who gave said high five [yet to be verified]
5 pts - five miles
4 pts - one for each time a homeless guy said something to me
3 pts - finishing run w/o throat threatening to swell shut

total: 40 pts [new high score]

I also signed the guys & me up for a team in creative loafing's field day @ piedmont on Sept. 30th. This consists of totally bad ass, straight up old school '80's field day activities [water balloon toss, eating contest, 4(?)-legged race, etc.]. The championship, after we make it there ;), is tug-of-war. It's time to return to the glory days in hs when the honors class & all of us smart kids beat the crap out of everyone else.

* Sept. 30th :: mark your calendars, we'll need your support *

We need to get to work trying to find some really short shorts, wrist & head bands, and striped knee-high socks. I don't think I'll get to make shirts for us b/c it says you get an even shirt to compete in, I'll have to check the rulebook on that one.

[oh, what's up w/ google taking over the blogger accounts? I'm a big fan of google and everything, it just seems like they're taking over the world. Too much control is never a good thing. Maybe it's just me...]

I don't think you can give yourself 10 pts for getting a high five from a hot girl and then another for possibly knowing her- less points if you know her. Just knowing a hot girl doesn't give you points. Just keeping you straight ;)

The holidays were nice: This was def the weirdest/worst Christmas ever but still good times. Nanny's was different since it's hit the point where it seems like it's time for each 'family' to go their separate way now + w/ all the new little kids and the 20-somethings growing apart. I'm looking forward to having the Fuller Christmas in Charlotte next year. I do love getting more from Mom + Robert than any kid over 14 should - it's pretty awesome how much they've done + continue to do for us. I got to spend a few days w/ Brooke before taking her to the airport on Christmas eve - that was def the best part of the holidays by far. Dad and I got out and played some golf w/ DJ Sparkles as our personal caddy on an unbelievably beautiful day for late December [or April for that matter]. It wasn't hard to tell that it'd been months since I last touched a club. Grandma Salter's was different this year too; mainly b/c Mom + Robert left for Houston on th...

too much sex [too little jesus]

What an awesome title for a rock song. Man, I love dbt. They've got it all. It's just dirty, rowdy, heartfelt southern rock. Anyway... Mondays are weird. I always feel like a slacker b/c everyone else is at work and I'm not, even though I work Saturdays and I went into the shop for a few hours today and did some freelance stuff. I guess it's just me. Such beautiful weather, it seems like the weather's been pretty much awesome for the past month or so. Pretty good weekend. Friday night we checked out Front Page News in midtown. It was pretty cool, I just miss the good ol' days when everyone else would get a little crazy, seems like they're all so chill now. I guess that's how it is when you get in a relationship though, so that's good for them. I guess I feel like having a girlfriend doesn't really change the way I act that much, but maybe it does. I'll work on them though, now that even more of us are in the city. Saturday was an ...
