Checking in - last weekend was great: Rockband + SingStar practice at Ginger's Friday night; Yard of Beer 08 Saturday night - 1:17 for 36 oz of beer is pretty good but, as a newcomer, I had the unfortunate position of pace setter...although 53 seconds is nuts [although we did dominate beer pong as a result of Brooke's stone cold ringer abilities]; Sunday was a day of 'fun + faith' as we hit up buckhead church and enjoyed dinner & wii w/ the crew at Eric's place.

The weekends are so great that the weekdays pale in comparison but I guess that's the result of dating such an amazing woman that lives an hour away...that and the fact that I desperately need more single male friends. The distance is only going to grow before it decreases though: Brooke has already received calls from Fresno + Monterey CA, Myrtle Beach SC, Milwaukee WI, etc.

Last night I was super green - I ran .7 miles to deposit my stimulus check [and get cash] at wachovia, ran 2 to return a movie [man bites dog] and get another one [funny games] from blockbuster and then ran 1.5 [while holding my debit card, blockbuster card, 20 bucks cash, and the dvd] back to my place...at 11p. Not exactly the best time to be running around this area since it was pretty much just myself + the crackheads/homeless/hookers on the streets at that point but I enjoy the thrill and am not known for my proclivity to play it safe.

The holidays were nice: This was def the weirdest/worst Christmas ever but still good times. Nanny's was different since it's hit the point where it seems like it's time for each 'family' to go their separate way now + w/ all the new little kids and the 20-somethings growing apart. I'm looking forward to having the Fuller Christmas in Charlotte next year. I do love getting more from Mom + Robert than any kid over 14 should - it's pretty awesome how much they've done + continue to do for us. I got to spend a few days w/ Brooke before taking her to the airport on Christmas eve - that was def the best part of the holidays by far. What an awesome title for a rock song. Man, I love dbt. They've got it all. It's just dirty, rowdy, heartfelt southern rock. Anyway... Mondays are weird. I always feel like a slacker b/c everyone else is at work and I'm not, even though I work Saturdays and I went into the shop for a few hours today and did some freelance stuff. I guess it's just me. Such beautiful weather, it seems like the weather's been pretty much awesome for the past month or so. Pretty good weekend. Friday night we checked out Front Page News in midtown. It was pretty cool, I just miss the good ol' days when everyone else would get a little crazy, seems like they're all so chill now. I guess that's how it is when you get in a relationship though, so that's good for them. I guess I feel like having a girlfriend doesn't really change the way I act that much, but maybe it does.
