Just made some jambalaya - prob the first time I've made any of this since college...so long ago now. Not looking like castleberry is going to happen tonight - had some plans w/ friends who ended up bailing [again]. That's how it goes though - just more confirmation that it's time to make my next move.

Tomorrow should be a fairly busy day: converse open gym from 8a-noon + volunteering w/ big peach [s3] @ the homeless shelter from 1p - 4 or so. Hopefully we'll get the guys together for some park grilling/chilling/sports tomorrow afternoon + ideally the trashers game tomorrow night. Everything is TBD though, of course. I'm looking forward to having dad up here Sunday to hang out w/ while I drink my prep, watch the masters, enjoy a clear liquid diet and go to church. At least I get a day off on Monday - it'll be a 'fresh start' @ the very least.

The holidays were nice: This was def the weirdest/worst Christmas ever but still good times. Nanny's was different since it's hit the point where it seems like it's time for each 'family' to go their separate way now + w/ all the new little kids and the 20-somethings growing apart. I'm looking forward to having the Fuller Christmas in Charlotte next year. I do love getting more from Mom + Robert than any kid over 14 should - it's pretty awesome how much they've done + continue to do for us. What an awesome title for a rock song. Man, I love dbt. They've got it all. It's just dirty, rowdy, heartfelt southern rock. Anyway... Mondays are weird. I always feel like a slacker b/c everyone else is at work and I'm not, even though I work Saturdays and I went into the shop for a few hours today and did some freelance stuff. I guess it's just me. Such beautiful weather, it seems like the weather's been pretty much awesome for the past month or so. Pretty good weekend. Friday night we checked out Front Page News in midtown. It was pretty cool, I just miss the good ol' days when everyone else would get a little crazy, seems like they're all so chill now. I guess that's how it is when you get in a relationship though, so that's good for them. I guess I feel like having a girlfriend doesn't really change the way I act that much, but maybe it does.
