here's your future

Spent the day at work drinking red wine w/ montine, working and watching this movie that one of our crazy ass customers made. I think we're going to make some copies to show to all our friends. We're def. shutting down the shop the second week of January...I'm really going to miss having such a cool job, but we are both ready to move onto something else. I've just got to find that something else soon. I know that I enjoy the unknown/unlimited possibilities stuff way too much. We'll keep the t-shirt stuff going at some capacity. I think that my main requirement for a job is a 'studio' atmosphere where I can listen to my music, I don't think that's too hard to find.

It's the longest night of the year tonight, winter solstice and all that. There is this totally hippie/witchcraft party going on in decatur but I don't think that I could even semi-blend into that kind of scene, although it would be a blast to check out.

Wartown this weekend will be fun, plenty of family and friends. We're also expanding the annual christmas sports night to three events this year [soccer/football/kickball x 2, midnight basketball christmas night]. I can't wait until I know my foot is totally healed and ready to go, not being able to run is driving me crazy.

I've been thinking about my 'best of 2006' list and some new year's resolutions, I'll get those down soon.

- I need to get the details on that new Canadian passport law...

The holidays were nice: This was def the weirdest/worst Christmas ever but still good times. Nanny's was different since it's hit the point where it seems like it's time for each 'family' to go their separate way now + w/ all the new little kids and the 20-somethings growing apart. I'm looking forward to having the Fuller Christmas in Charlotte next year. I do love getting more from Mom + Robert than any kid over 14 should - it's pretty awesome how much they've done + continue to do for us. I got to spend a few days w/ Brooke before taking her to the airport on Christmas eve - that was def the best part of the holidays by far. Dad and I got out and played some golf w/ DJ Sparkles as our personal caddy on an unbelievably beautiful day for late December [or April for that matter]. It wasn't hard to tell that it'd been months since I last touched a club. Grandma Salter's was different this year too; mainly b/c Mom + Robert left for Houston on th...

too much sex [too little jesus]

What an awesome title for a rock song. Man, I love dbt. They've got it all. It's just dirty, rowdy, heartfelt southern rock. Anyway... Mondays are weird. I always feel like a slacker b/c everyone else is at work and I'm not, even though I work Saturdays and I went into the shop for a few hours today and did some freelance stuff. I guess it's just me. Such beautiful weather, it seems like the weather's been pretty much awesome for the past month or so. Pretty good weekend. Friday night we checked out Front Page News in midtown. It was pretty cool, I just miss the good ol' days when everyone else would get a little crazy, seems like they're all so chill now. I guess that's how it is when you get in a relationship though, so that's good for them. I guess I feel like having a girlfriend doesn't really change the way I act that much, but maybe it does. I'll work on them though, now that even more of us are in the city. Saturday was an ...
