i and love and you

Great weekend - bama crushed the gators + made tebow and meyer cry [to the point of dehydration even], gt came back to win the acc and brooke came up saturday night - spending time w/ her made everything amazing, whether it was watching the gt game on the couch, heading to the dome sunday to watch the falcons get crushed by her eagles [got to see vick make some plays but unfortunately no john parker], or finally finishing up season three of dexter over some delicious tuna steaks, brown rice + asparagus.

Last night was the most ridiculous night of softball I've ever been involved in: ~44°, game one - we're down four runs heading into the top of the last inning [we're the visitors], we tie the game up + hold them in the bottom of the 6th before scoring five in the top of the 7th + holding on for the win. game two - we go up 13-3 [almost mercy rule them] before completely falling apart + letting them take the lead 13-17, we then come back to lead 19-17 heading into the bottom of the last inning just to have them hit a walkoff bases loaded triple! Come on man...still a great season though + the banquet at hudson grille w/ four free [two expired] beer coupons helped ease our pain.

Today sort of sucked: all w/n an hour I found out that b/c of an allotment error my BCS championship ticket request has gone unfilled and got a boot on my car [which is a loaner b/c my jetta's been in the shop since thursday + that I only drove to work b/c it was raining + that I had to pay to park in a lot b/c my garage card is in my jetta + that got booted b/c it was there after 630p b/c I randomly had to work late]. You know it's pretty bad when the boot dude hears your story + then gives you a number to call to try to get out of the $75 fine...although texting brooke a bit, finally being able to pick up my jetta and grabbing some OTP zaxby's solo made things much better.

The holidays were nice: This was def the weirdest/worst Christmas ever but still good times. Nanny's was different since it's hit the point where it seems like it's time for each 'family' to go their separate way now + w/ all the new little kids and the 20-somethings growing apart. I'm looking forward to having the Fuller Christmas in Charlotte next year. I do love getting more from Mom + Robert than any kid over 14 should - it's pretty awesome how much they've done + continue to do for us. I got to spend a few days w/ Brooke before taking her to the airport on Christmas eve - that was def the best part of the holidays by far. Dad and I got out and played some golf w/ DJ Sparkles as our personal caddy on an unbelievably beautiful day for late December [or April for that matter]. It wasn't hard to tell that it'd been months since I last touched a club. Grandma Salter's was different this year too; mainly b/c Mom + Robert left for Houston on th...

too much sex [too little jesus]

What an awesome title for a rock song. Man, I love dbt. They've got it all. It's just dirty, rowdy, heartfelt southern rock. Anyway... Mondays are weird. I always feel like a slacker b/c everyone else is at work and I'm not, even though I work Saturdays and I went into the shop for a few hours today and did some freelance stuff. I guess it's just me. Such beautiful weather, it seems like the weather's been pretty much awesome for the past month or so. Pretty good weekend. Friday night we checked out Front Page News in midtown. It was pretty cool, I just miss the good ol' days when everyone else would get a little crazy, seems like they're all so chill now. I guess that's how it is when you get in a relationship though, so that's good for them. I guess I feel like having a girlfriend doesn't really change the way I act that much, but maybe it does. I'll work on them though, now that even more of us are in the city. Saturday was an ...
