Man...tonight was exactly what I needed. My city is just what I needed - a simpler times walk to kill time + think turns into an impressively modern/hip art show in midtown. The first three songs I hear are 'bad romance,' ' love story' and 'party in the usa' - freaking awesome. Great, unpretentious [if that's possible] art in midtown? So cool. Things still aren't anywhere near the way I want them but I'm working on it - everything good that I see reminds me of what I want + what should be.

- i def need to start keeping my camera on me...

- monster football weekend coming up - I'd prefer my teams to win in the following order:

1] bama
2] gt
3] dirty birds

...sorry falcons, but it'd be really cool to see both of my college teams head to BCS bowls in the same season - and bama is going to win the bcs this season. I'll def. take +5.5

The holidays were nice: This was def the weirdest/worst Christmas ever but still good times. Nanny's was different since it's hit the point where it seems like it's time for each 'family' to go their separate way now + w/ all the new little kids and the 20-somethings growing apart. I'm looking forward to having the Fuller Christmas in Charlotte next year. I do love getting more from Mom + Robert than any kid over 14 should - it's pretty awesome how much they've done + continue to do for us. What an awesome title for a rock song. Man, I love dbt. They've got it all. It's just dirty, rowdy, heartfelt southern rock. Anyway... Mondays are weird. I always feel like a slacker b/c everyone else is at work and I'm not, even though I work Saturdays and I went into the shop for a few hours today and did some freelance stuff. I guess it's just me. Such beautiful weather, it seems like the weather's been pretty much awesome for the past month or so. Pretty good weekend. Friday night we checked out Front Page News in midtown. It was pretty cool, I just miss the good ol' days when everyone else would get a little crazy, seems like they're all so chill now. I guess that's how it is when you get in a relationship though, so that's good for them. I guess I feel like having a girlfriend doesn't really change the way I act that much, but maybe it does.
