we both go down together

Just got back from the independent. It was cool, Croyle's birthday 'pool' party...that was a freebie, folks. I'm glad Jessica called, she's a good friend: very dependable. Group tabs are messy and not a wise choice - fyi -

Ha, myspace is pretty interesting. You can find people on there that you never thought you would talk to again. It's that new, new facebook. First blogs, then facebook, now myspace...where will it end?

I don't really have much to say tonight. I am selling my old turbografx on ebay :::::::::::
You can look at it there. Apparently it's worth some money or something. I'm probably the only one amused by this.

Oh, and Joe had a girl come look at my room tonight. Well she got here at nine and I get back from the independent...and she's still here. I even told him how you can't mess w/ someone that you live with. Not a good situation [I wouldn't know by experience, just intuition]. Ha, I guess he's just going to go ahead and try his luck before it even gets to the possibility of living together. A girl roommate could be a very cool or a very weird situation, but that's just me.

WOW, alright, scratch that last paragraph...this girl was NUTS!!! This will be the abridged version: Joe said that when I left to go to the bar [keep in mind, she had already been here an hour], that she talked about random stuff and repeated some of the same things over and over before taking off her shirt and showing him her fake boobs while dancing around the living room. It gets nuttier: She started kissing him and stuff and saying how they couldn't be roommates but that they could 'have some fun'. He thought about it and after quite a battle in his head decided that she was too crazy to hook up w/ [that's crazy crazy]. Anyway, she ends up saying that she was too tired to leave [she is like passing out on the couch] and just wanted to sleep here so he came up to talk to me about it and said that he didn't want her to stay here and possibly steal anything. So I start saying that he should just drive her and her car home and I'll follow him and bring him back. I told him that it wasn't worth taking the chance of her stealing the TV or anything [although we both audibly agree that she couldn't carry it]. So I walk downstairs w/ Joe to figure out what to do...and there she is standing in the living room. She says that she heard everything I said and starts going off on me. I'm trying to be cool and explain myself while Joe is standing behind her making the universal signal for crazy over and over. Anyway, she turns to talk to Joe and I sneak back up the stairs and lock my door. She finally left and hopefully that's that. Man, it was crazy. Hopefully that's all we'll hear from that.

Alright, that wasn't very short at all. I'm out.

you only live once

The holidays were nice: This was def the weirdest/worst Christmas ever but still good times. Nanny's was different since it's hit the point where it seems like it's time for each 'family' to go their separate way now + w/ all the new little kids and the 20-somethings growing apart. I'm looking forward to having the Fuller Christmas in Charlotte next year. I do love getting more from Mom + Robert than any kid over 14 should - it's pretty awesome how much they've done + continue to do for us. I got to spend a few days w/ Brooke before taking her to the airport on Christmas eve - that was def the best part of the holidays by far. Dad and I got out and played some golf w/ DJ Sparkles as our personal caddy on an unbelievably beautiful day for late December [or April for that matter]. It wasn't hard to tell that it'd been months since I last touched a club. Grandma Salter's was different this year too; mainly b/c Mom + Robert left for Houston on th...

too much sex [too little jesus]

What an awesome title for a rock song. Man, I love dbt. They've got it all. It's just dirty, rowdy, heartfelt southern rock. Anyway... Mondays are weird. I always feel like a slacker b/c everyone else is at work and I'm not, even though I work Saturdays and I went into the shop for a few hours today and did some freelance stuff. I guess it's just me. Such beautiful weather, it seems like the weather's been pretty much awesome for the past month or so. Pretty good weekend. Friday night we checked out Front Page News in midtown. It was pretty cool, I just miss the good ol' days when everyone else would get a little crazy, seems like they're all so chill now. I guess that's how it is when you get in a relationship though, so that's good for them. I guess I feel like having a girlfriend doesn't really change the way I act that much, but maybe it does. I'll work on them though, now that even more of us are in the city. Saturday was an ...
