Not a bad night. wndc at aiko pretty much blew, teddy and I paid five bucks to get in, four for a beer, and left w/n ten minutes. That freed up my evening for the great lake swimmers & centro-matic show at the earl. It was really good. Will Johnson's voice is just cool as hell and patterson hood would never lie to me. I even got to see will do one of his 'appliance dances', the toaster...I'm totally stealing it. Their t-shirts were only eight bucks too [and we all know how many more band shirts i need], but, alas, they only had s & xl.

A really nice night, I think I'm a fan of going to shows by myself. It's nice not having to worry about whoever I drag along to hear some band they've never heard of and I don't even notice anyone else when the band is playing. I'm totally cool w/ drinking a pbr and chilling by myself during set changes. There's always the chance to meet other people as weird as I am as well.

Taking jennifer to the show friday night as my 'photographer' will be a lot of fun. It'll be nice to spend some time w/ her again. It's been a while, what w/ her all in love and everything. That's awesome though.

Oh, and daya just said the she'd be my 'backup', so now I've just gotta figure out a way to keep her single until she's 35. Hands off, gentlemen!

The holidays were nice: This was def the weirdest/worst Christmas ever but still good times. Nanny's was different since it's hit the point where it seems like it's time for each 'family' to go their separate way now + w/ all the new little kids and the 20-somethings growing apart. I'm looking forward to having the Fuller Christmas in Charlotte next year. I do love getting more from Mom + Robert than any kid over 14 should - it's pretty awesome how much they've done + continue to do for us. What an awesome title for a rock song. Man, I love dbt. They've got it all. It's just dirty, rowdy, heartfelt southern rock. Anyway... Mondays are weird. I always feel like a slacker b/c everyone else is at work and I'm not, even though I work Saturdays and I went into the shop for a few hours today and did some freelance stuff. I guess it's just me. Such beautiful weather, it seems like the weather's been pretty much awesome for the past month or so. Pretty good weekend. Friday night we checked out Front Page News in midtown. It was pretty cool, I just miss the good ol' days when everyone else would get a little crazy, seems like they're all so chill now. I guess that's how it is when you get in a relationship though, so that's good for them. I guess I feel like having a girlfriend doesn't really change the way I act that much, but maybe it does.
