so sneaky

My shower and I have this game that we play: I do everything that I can think of to keep the water from leaking all over the floor while I shower and it finds a way to get it wet regardless. I haven't discovered any correlation b/n what I do when it leaks and what I do when it doesn't.

I had the lead for a while but the shower has really turned it on lately. I wonder what we're playing to...

postscript i - I've got ucla and florida in the final four. Yeager has lsu and george mason [wtf?]. The eleven years of 'here, have some of micah's money' could be drawing to a close this weekend. Oh, and I'm winning all three 'regular' pools that I entered, so I've got that going for me. Why didn't I bet on any of those?!

The answer, or course, is because if I did all of my picks would have lost on the first weekend.

postscript ii - Check out band of horses [everything all the time]...anyone want to be my 'photographer' at a show at the roxy this friday? My new editor is a total stickler for only letting us review artists that are actually from the hardcore southeast.

postscript iii - There's going to be a solar eclipse tomorrow [or today I guess]. I'm going to set my alarm for 5a and check it out on msnbc.com. This should be cool.

The holidays were nice: This was def the weirdest/worst Christmas ever but still good times. Nanny's was different since it's hit the point where it seems like it's time for each 'family' to go their separate way now + w/ all the new little kids and the 20-somethings growing apart. I'm looking forward to having the Fuller Christmas in Charlotte next year. What an awesome title for a rock song. Man, I love dbt. They've got it all. It's just dirty, rowdy, heartfelt southern rock. Anyway... Mondays are weird. I always feel like a slacker b/c everyone else is at work and I'm not, even though I work Saturdays and I went into the shop for a few hours today and did some freelance stuff. I guess it's just me. Such beautiful weather, it seems like the weather's been pretty much awesome for the past month or so. Pretty good weekend. Friday night we checked out Front Page News in midtown. It was pretty cool, I just miss the good ol' days when everyone else would get a little crazy, seems like they're all so chill now. I guess that's how it is when you get in a relationship though, so that's good for them. I guess I feel like having a girlfriend doesn't really change the way I act that much, but maybe it does.
