it's the most wonderful time of the year

It's that time of the year...march madness. That means that it's time for the 12th annual 'middle school pick 'em'.

I'm meeting up w/ yeager, joe, and james to do what we've been doing since the seventh grade. And we're meeting at zaxby's [one perk of the suburbs]. I'm the only one who's never won, but I've got a feeling this is my year, plus the law of averages can only screw one person for so long.

Delicious food, old friends, talking crap, and betting on sports. I think that's about as good as it gets, w/o getting ridiculous.

- update later -

Alright, I know no one cares but I figure I'll keep track of my teams on here for my own purposes. I made some stupid ass/brilliant picks:

2 - ucla
3 - florida
4 - kansas
4 - boston college
5 - nevada
6 - michigan state
7 - wichita state
9 - uab
10 - alabama
11 - san diego state
11 - southern illinois
13 - air force
14 - northwestern state
15 - winthrop
15 - davidson
16 - oral roberts

let the upsets begin

The holidays were nice: This was def the weirdest/worst Christmas ever but still good times. Nanny's was different since it's hit the point where it seems like it's time for each 'family' to go their separate way now + w/ all the new little kids and the 20-somethings growing apart. I'm looking forward to having the Fuller Christmas in Charlotte next year. I do love getting more from Mom + Robert than any kid over 14 should - it's pretty awesome how much they've done + continue to do for us. I got to spend a few days w/ Brooke before taking her to the airport on Christmas eve - that was def the best part of the holidays by far. Dad and I got out and played some golf w/ DJ Sparkles as our personal caddy on an unbelievably beautiful day for late December [or April for that matter]. It wasn't hard to tell that it'd been months since I last touched a club. Grandma Salter's was different this year too; mainly b/c Mom + Robert left for Houston on th...

too much sex [too little jesus]

What an awesome title for a rock song. Man, I love dbt. They've got it all. It's just dirty, rowdy, heartfelt southern rock. Anyway... Mondays are weird. I always feel like a slacker b/c everyone else is at work and I'm not, even though I work Saturdays and I went into the shop for a few hours today and did some freelance stuff. I guess it's just me. Such beautiful weather, it seems like the weather's been pretty much awesome for the past month or so. Pretty good weekend. Friday night we checked out Front Page News in midtown. It was pretty cool, I just miss the good ol' days when everyone else would get a little crazy, seems like they're all so chill now. I guess that's how it is when you get in a relationship though, so that's good for them. I guess I feel like having a girlfriend doesn't really change the way I act that much, but maybe it does. I'll work on them though, now that even more of us are in the city. Saturday was an ...
