not too bad

Friday night: Met everyone at park tavern for dinner, drinks, and games. I then headed to the highlands w/ Chris Wilson [yeah, I thought he was dead too], James, and some other folks. Long story short, I ended up getting left, walking/running to loca luna to meet some friends, then walking home. I'm not sure if my friends straight left me or if there was a communication breakdown but I guess I did knock out like eight miles that day since I ran that morning too.

Good night last night. I met tatum and her sister at hole in the wall...not my idea, but it was fun anyway. I saw quite a few other people that I knew there as well. I didn't think people went there, but I guess that's just me. Everyone else went to northside tavern, so that would've been fun too. I just hate paying a ten dollar cover charge to go to a place that's free and still just as cool during the week. I guess I just like to get out and put myself in the position to meet new people too. choices, choices

Tourney Update:

All of my remaining teams played yesterday while I was working from 11a-7p and having an art show from 8p-midnight, crazy how that happens.

The art show was really cool. I'd never seen spoken word before but I was very impressed, it's really beautiful. It's like hip hop poetry. At one point I was listening to what one of the performers was saying and I was like - I'm sitting here in a little studio in inman park, drinking a beer, 'working', and hanging out w/ all these unique, creative, daring people at an art show that I'm doing a large part to put together...life is good. The guys from the good friday experiment were the djs, they were really good. The entire night just had such a great vibe since such a large part of what the artists were saying was 'we're all in this together'. It just felt really good. Alright, continuing:

Teams left:
2 - ucla
3 - florida
4 - boston college
7 - wichita state

I wish I could've seen the bama-ucla game, they almost pulled it out. I was just sitting there hitting refresh on my phone for two hours.

Josh and Jake will be crashing here tonight after meeting w/ some producer. It'll be cool to hang out w/ them. It looks like a crap weather day otherwise.

The holidays were nice: This was def the weirdest/worst Christmas ever but still good times. Nanny's was different since it's hit the point where it seems like it's time for each 'family' to go their separate way now + w/ all the new little kids and the 20-somethings growing apart. I'm looking forward to having the Fuller Christmas in Charlotte next year. I do love getting more from Mom + Robert than any kid over 14 should - it's pretty awesome how much they've done + continue to do for us. I got to spend a few days w/ Brooke before taking her to the airport on Christmas eve - that was def the best part of the holidays by far. Dad and I got out and played some golf w/ DJ Sparkles as our personal caddy on an unbelievably beautiful day for late December [or April for that matter]. It wasn't hard to tell that it'd been months since I last touched a club. Grandma Salter's was different this year too; mainly b/c Mom + Robert left for Houston on th...

too much sex [too little jesus]

What an awesome title for a rock song. Man, I love dbt. They've got it all. It's just dirty, rowdy, heartfelt southern rock. Anyway... Mondays are weird. I always feel like a slacker b/c everyone else is at work and I'm not, even though I work Saturdays and I went into the shop for a few hours today and did some freelance stuff. I guess it's just me. Such beautiful weather, it seems like the weather's been pretty much awesome for the past month or so. Pretty good weekend. Friday night we checked out Front Page News in midtown. It was pretty cool, I just miss the good ol' days when everyone else would get a little crazy, seems like they're all so chill now. I guess that's how it is when you get in a relationship though, so that's good for them. I guess I feel like having a girlfriend doesn't really change the way I act that much, but maybe it does. I'll work on them though, now that even more of us are in the city. Saturday was an ...
